Top 5 Navigation and Maps Apps on Android in Egypt: Q2 2023

The second quarter of 2023 saw notable trends in the performance of the top five navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in Egypt. Below, we provide an overview of the weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Radarbot Speed Camera Detector experienced a significant rise in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $810 in the last week of June. Weekly downloads surged notably, reaching 38.5K in the same period. The app also saw an upward trend in weekly active users, climbing from 44.2K in early June to 72.9K by the end of the month.

Google Earth maintained a consistent number of weekly downloads, averaging around 9K, with slight fluctuations. The app's weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 61K to 65K throughout the quarter.

Map Drive - Radar, Speedometer showed a remarkable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 24.6K in late May. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, rising from 9.8K in late May to 15.3K by the end of June.

GPS, Maps, Voice Navigation had a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 6.5K in late May, while weekly revenue remained stable at around $5. Weekly active users saw a significant rise, reaching 23.7K by the end of May before stabilizing around 16.2K in late June.

Radar－Speedometer－GPS－HUD saw a notable uptick in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 12.2K in mid-June. The app's weekly active users increased steadily, rising from 15.7K in early June to 23.4K by mid-June, before slightly declining to 22.5K by the end of the month.
